This site was originally about the real estate industry, but now it is about politics, economics, government, freedom, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in limited government -- this blog explains why.

Yea for the American people -- The Liberal Republic Party is pleased

From everything I hear on news reports, talking with people and reading blogs the people of this country want something done about the financial mess but they favor a more private solution than a government bailout and takeover.

Just think, if the few rebellious representatives had not blocked the momentum, the original plan would have been rammed through causing no one knows how much damage to the economy and the country. It's a good thing we have some reasonable people left in government who haven't lost confidence in common sense solutions.

However, there's still a great possibility a mongrel solution will be passed that throws a box of wrenches into the economy. Being the eternal optimist, I'm holding out for good results. As long as we can thwart Pelosi, Frank, Bush and Reid, we have a good shot at something positive.

Bush has done more for statism than any of them. Big government Republicans must be thwarted as vigourously as big government Democrats. The Liberal Republic Party pledges to limit government. More of the platform will be revealed soon.
