This site was originally about the real estate industry, but now it is about politics, economics, government, freedom, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in limited government -- this blog explains why.

I don't understand the vitriol towards Palin

Regardless of whether she is qualified or not, the mean-spirted reaction to Palin from left and center is astounding. There is something underneath this other than partisanship. There is an ugly emotional reaction that's troubling. I'll have to give this some thought before I speculate on the causes, but it's worth thinking about.

I thought she did very well in the debate -- I think her fan base will swell and that the race will be affected positively for McCain -- just an objective observation. Biden seems bitter and stuck in a liberal mindset that is very old.

Mike...I had this same thought as well. It's way more than partisanship or mean spirited-ness. I believe it is rooted in hate, jealousy and an anti-christian spirit. It's quite distressing to see this blatant hate towards her and McCain. I think if Ghandi were running as a GOP nominee they would still hate and figure out how to demonize him too. It's disturbing how this could happen. For goodness sakes, they don't even know her. If she lived next door, they would probably really like her. This hate spreads like cancer and its unbelievable the deception that is interwoven into it as well. God help us.

    Thanks Rob

All the piling on and me-tooism is disappointing -- it seems some of these people would realize that although they might disagree with her, they don't have to destroy her as if she is a dangerous monster. I mean, enough is enough -- incredible.
